How silly two girls can be

My roommate and I can be very absent minded when it comes to technology. We do know how things work, we just don't always remember to check. Whether it is trying to turn something on that is plug in but not plug into the wall. Or trying to work a camera.



Well at least we figure things out relatively quickly.

The Do Not Open Envelope

Towards the end of my long absence from Provo Michael finally called me and said that I could open the envelope that had “Do not open with out instructions”.



I asked him when, thinking that it would be now, and he said in a half hour, or maybe it was in an hour. Around the same time we would get on Skype. So I waited thinking that I wouldn’t open it till he told me to on Skype. That time came and I got on Skype with Michael and around then the Doorbell rang. Chauncey answered it. It was somebody from Pizza Hut. Well, Chauncey didn’t ordered pizza so he went around to all of the people in the house and asked if anyone ordered Pizza we all said no. We said that we were willing to take it but we would feel bad because we didn’t order it, so we sent him away. I was still on Skype with Michael, but he got a phone call so he muted himself to talk on the phone. Then the doorbell rang again. It was the pizza dude. This time he said it was for a Michael. Well there were no Michaels around where we lived that we knew of. Then he said that it was from someone far far away. Then everyone looked at me, and I decided it was time to open the envelope. In side was a note card with “DON’T FORGET TO TIP THE PIZZA GUY” and some money.



So I got to enjoy some pizza from somebody I love, and got a good story out of it.

So the phone call that Michael got was from the pizza guy trying to figure out what was going on

Far Far Away

Well on April 22 I left for Raleigh for 57 days. I’m just glad that it was only 57 days and not 4 months.

Even when I was far away, Michael still showed me that he loved me. Fist off he bought me a web cam and got me on Skype (such a wonderful thing to have.) He sent me a package with all sorts of neat stuff. Kisses, one a day till I came back to Provo, and some extras that proved useful; a CD of songs, a movie and popcorn, so that we could watch it together; an envelope that I was not suppose to open; and a box that I could not open till May 18.

While I was living in Raleigh, I was sleeping on a couch for the most part, so all my stuff was in Mom’s room, including the kisses. Needless to say I trusted my mom no to eat my kisses. However, I under estimated the ability of Chauncey and Melanie’s kids: Chauncey, Jackson and Kate. They are pretty good at finding chocolate. They ate like 10 to 15 days. But they’re cut kids. And they did repay my days back.

The Next Phone call

So after being asked out on two dates, I figured it was my turn to do the asking. So after talking to a bunch of people to get up the courage and confidence, I made a plan to call Michael to ask him if he wanted to make cookies with me and what type we would make. However, I get easily distracted while on the phone so I decided I would call him while I walked to the Creamery.

So I went walking and when I got on 9^th east I called him. He answered and we got talking, but before I could ask him out he says, ‘I think I see you walking’. Well, I was walking and 9^th east is a busy street, so it was possible. Anyways he was driving by asked me what I was doing, I was going shopping for food, Did I want a ride back home. My thought were something along the lines of but I’m buying ingredient for the cookies were going to make for the date I haven’t ask you on yet, but I really wanted to spend some time with him. So I said sure. So Michael turned around, and we went shopping together.

I asked him on the date bought the ingredients. Made the date for the following Tuesday, and that night we made it official that we were boyfriend and girlfriend.
