Baby, Garden, Ice Cream, Spout

I was better this week at taking pictures.
We watched Isaac for a while one day.
Michael was balancing that funny looking water gun thing on his finger, which fascinated Isaac.  And He wanted to do it too.

We also talked on the phone
 And were just cute.
So if you make comments in a public way about wanting to garden, you'll get offers from people with their own yards to let you garden there.
It was brought up that I don't have any pictures of me.  So here I am.
You see the space where there is only dirt, well there use to be tall grass there.
You see the space where there is only dirt, well now there are seeds and garden plants there.

We got a buy a small scoop get a small scoop free, so we went out on a date to get some ice cream.
 Picture #2 of me.
I got Toffee Pecan Crunch
Michael got Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

The rest is on Sprout so feel free to exit blog now.
Now this plant is on a window sill that faces west.  So at night the tops of their heads are all curved facing window because of the sun light that comes in.
However, there is no sun light at night.  So in the mornings they're mostly standing straight up.  You can kind of tell in the photos.

Life, These Last Couple of Weeks

So I'm bad at taking pictures.  I take my camera every where I go, batteries charged and enough memory, but I forget to take pictures.  So sad because I like looking at pictures.  So I'm going to tell you some stuff without pictures.

The Varsity Theater was showing Newsies this month.  So for $2 we went.  It was a lot of fun.  The workers there were all dressed up in their Newsies outfits (hats included).  At the beginning of the show, they got about 10 people up to do a trivia about the show.  I knew a lot of the answers and some of them I would guess correctly, but I didn't know the names of all of the characters.  So lots of fun there.  That was last Friday.

Abi graduated from High School.  She celebrated by inviting the family for dinner at the Roundy's.  It felt like a long time since the last Wilde family gathering, so it was nice being all together eating delicious food.

Earlier today Charity, Isaac and I went to Sylvia's baby shower.  She's having twin girls that are due in early August.  Cute decoration and good food.  And we were able to bring home some treats.  Here I must say that I was tempted to take a picture, but I didn't.  Isaac was acting cute as well.

Now for some pictures.
So Apparently we don't eat potatoes fast enough.  I looked in the cupboard and saw antlers.

Sprout is bigger and has one more set of leaves:

Sprout Update

Those 3 little seeds are growing!!  I think it's so cool and Amazing.  I want a garden.  I don't know how to garden and I don't know if I can garden in an apartment, so I won't have one this year, but later in life I want a garden. I should just go ask James and Charity if I can work in their garden.

Sprout about 2 weeks after planting.
Sprout got tall enough to be over the top of the Pot!  I don't really know when that was so lets call it week 3.
I couldn't get rid of the 2 other spouts but the pot wasn't big enough of 3, so I replanted them it some Parmesan and sour cream containers. At about week 4.
And these next pictures are from today, week 5 (I feel like I'm taking about a pregnancy with all the weeks, but I just find it sooo cool at how big it is after about a month).

I mean after about 2 weeks it's that much taller.
And after a week it's starting a new set of leaves.

I'm going to have to blame all this excitement about a plant on Amy, a former roommate.  She really did introduce it to me.

Basil

So I got some basil seeds.  I was excited because I always liked the idea of growing a garden. But I don't exactly have a lot of yard space, but I do have a small pot that I can plant some basil seeds.  Well I planted 3 seeds even though the pot could probably only do one seed, thinking that one or more might not sprout.  But all Three did sprout!! Earlier this week.

They are way taller now, plus there is another sprout.  I'm not sure if I can keep them all; I don't think the pot is big enough.
