Random Pics

So I firmly believe that pictures should be looked at.  So here are some pictures of my nephew about the time that his parents dropped him off at my place around 5:30 in the morning.
He found Sally and wanted to play with it, but Sally is fragile so that a no-no activity.  But, I find it funny of how they're practically the same size but his proportion is off.  I believe that Sally is half size.
And here we are having fun watching the red light reflect in the mirror.

He's such a cool kid.

Our Life at the Moment

Michael started a new job last Monday.  He is the Operations Manager for a company called Inside Sales.  He is in train this week and possible some of next.  He's gone from 9am-6pm for training but will switch to 7am-5pm when he's done with training.  It's been fun for the month and a half of spending the day together while we were both looking for a job.  A comfortable but undeserved life.  Now I have to find something to do with my day.  I am volunteering with the Red Cross.  I'm helping with their Run for Red fundraiser.  So that is our life at the moment.

Super Bowl

We had the Super Bowl get together at our place.  James and Charity came.
So did Erin, David and Zach.
We did watch the game, but who are we kidding, we only really watched the commercials and for the food.
Lots of food.  We are going to have left overs for a while.
Isaac was really fun to watch.
He kept asking for soda and would sign please, so he got a little bit each time.  At one point he even got his own cup and signed for more soda.

Mini Golf at the Wilk.

There was some put-put in the Wilk.  Michael and I wanted to go and we asked Zach if he wanted to go, apparently he did.  There were 8 holes.
 Zach making it in.
Michael putting.  I don't know if he made it.
Allison putting.  She liked to hit others' ball when they were in her way.
All three very close to making it in.
Michael got a 17 which put him in the lead for the Men for a little while.  In the end he was third.  2 other people got 15.

Weekend Trip

So Grandma Anderson died on Monday 17 of January.  They had the funeral that Saturday.  Everyone in Provo thought it would be nice to go the the funeral that would be held in Payette, Idaho, a 6 hour drive from Provo.  There would be the added benefit of seeing family while there.  There drive up and back had no major problems, excepted on the way there the dashboard lights went out and on the way back I missed a junction and had a 28 mile detour.

The Program.
There was a life sketch and a talk about the plan of salvation.
The casket at the burial site.
 The marker.
I'm kind of fascinated with this kind of stuff. (I think fascinated is the right word).  But I've want to start determining what to put on my tomb stone.  I know I don't want to be under a 8 ft one.  But Michael does, so we shall see what will happen.
Tables at the luncheon after the service.

 The Center Piece.

It was nice spending the weekend with family.  12 people and a baby sleeping in 3 rooms is fun in my mind for a family get together.  We played a lot of games and talked.
Whitney thought this was funny.  And we just loved to hear her laugh.
